Schmersal nominated twice for ‘Products of the Year 2025’
The editors of the trade magazine ‘Computer&Automation’ have nominated Schmersal twice for the ‘Products of the Year 2025’ award:
- the ‘DHS’ door handle system in the electromechanics category
- the ‘Safety 4D model’ in the Safety & Security category
The DHS door handle system impresses with its successful combination of a robust door handle with the display of various machine statuses via the handle's lighting.

And the Schmersal Safety 4D model not only simulates individual safety components, but also entire process and control sequences via the virtual mapping of the signal currents. The advantage: in addition to early fault detection and optimisation, the 4D model will also enable virtual commissioning of the machine in future.
